Submissions for the Summer 2017 Global Academic Grant are open.

We will be announcing a winner in May.

The VGA-100 gas chromatography detector represents the most significant GC detection advancement in decades and has been recognized by a number of innovation awards including GCC 2014 Best New Analytical Instrument, TASIA 2014 Top 5 Winner, and 2015 R&D 100 Award Winner.

Global academic institutions are invited to submit a proposal to receive a no-cost VGA-100 instrument loaned for one semester by participating in VUV Analytics' Academic Grant Program.

We will be accepting submissions until May 1st 2017. The winning institution will be announced in mid-May 2017.

VUV technology enables novel analytical research and discovery by:

  • Making the VUV spectrum accessible through laboratory benchtop detection.
  • Providing unambiguous compound and compound class identification.
  • Simplifying quantitative analysis through spectral quantitation and software automation.
  • Offering a non-destructive, universal compliment to Mass Spectrometry.
